Most likely no.  There was a three team deal in the works that would send Manny to the Marlins, Jason Bay to the Sox and Hermida and a few prospects to the Pirates.  After that fell apart the Marlins tried to deal Hermida and the prospects for Manny, but I don't believe the Sox are interested since they wouldn't get a big time bat to backup David Ortiz in the deal.

Look, I'm a die hard Yankee fan and I'd love nothing more then Manny Ramirez being traded to the Marlins because I also hate the Mets. But the fact of the matter is, it just won't happen. Boston would be in the s*****r without their best hitter (hey that rhymed!). I don't care what he says or does, it's Manny Ramirez and he's going to produce. And Boston knows if they are going to be in October their going to have to stick it out.

No way, the Marlins organiziation is all about the future, Manny takes them in the wrong direction.

Boston has been in these situations before, but most likely, no. I think they'll wait till the season is over so he can become a Free-Agent, but hey anything is possible.
