Will maple trees grow in Oklahoma?

Just wondering if maple trees can survive the heat, winds, and storms of Oklahoma.

Sure Oklahoma is not the only state to have heat wind and storms. Just take precautionary measures. Stake and tie for the first year to develop and survive the wind and storms. Heat pick the spot where it gets the morning sun and mulch for the drought. No worries.............Plant away and learn and have fun - that's what gardening is all about !
