That would depend on whether she realizes she has lost before or after the 'Pubs' convention.  Very interesting thought, though.

Not in a million years!  The GOP's most important priority is getting in control and staying in control.  McCain is old and decrepit, he has one foot in the grave already and he stands an excellent chance of not making it through his first term.  That would put Hillary in the White House, and she could then run for re-election TWICE.

People tell me the Republicans -like- Hillary, but I think that's baloney.  The want her to get the Democratic nomination because they want to run against her!  She carries a lot of baggage from her husband's time in office and she would be easy to smear and slime, like Republicans do.  There's just no way she's going to get onto the Republican ticket.

He has to choose his running mate before the election.  And he's almost certainly going to choose a republican.
