Will medicare pay for home rehab?

My Mother is having hip replacement surgery and wants to have someone to come to her house afterwards to give her therapy. Will medicare pay for it?

  3. Yes, they will pay for medically necessary intermittent skilled nursing care, home health aide services, and rehabilitation

    services. Also, the agency giving the therapy must be approved by Medicare to offer the services.

  4. you will have to call Medicare to find out...it is all dependent on the situation and what kind of coverage your Mom has.  They would probably give you a list of home care/rehab agencies to choose from, or she could go for therapy at a rehab center, which would most likely be covered.  you'll still have to make the call though.
