before it was the man that fought over the woman, so that meant the biggest and hairiest man won, because testosterone made them hairy and mean, But now that its a woman choice to choose the man, they seem to go for less hairy men and guys that look more like a woman

  1. Those differences are primarily due to sexual dimorphism, humans have little in comparison to the Gorilla, or even earlier human prototypes, such as the A. africanus. Evolution is prompted by the ability to reproduce viable offspring...Read up on Darwin's Origin of the Species.

  2. Where I live there are tons more girls than guys. It still seems like the men choose the girls and usually of course the prettiest or most unique looking girls are chosen as long as the uniqueness makes them pretty.

  3. I almost hate to tell you this, but the woman always chose the man. Certain societies force certain choices on women, but biology has been around a lot longer than society. It can't be as simple as men fighting each other over a woman. If it is that simple, and the woman has no say, then what you've got is a couple of guys pounding each other over the head for the rights to rape her. And what does being hairy have to do with it, anyway?

You've got a problem with your logic. Men fight each other for the attention of the women, not the rights to her. She grants the rights herself. In other animal species where this happens, there is a clear degree of differences between males and females. There about has to be.

Of course, that's a huge simplification. There isn't really any evidence at all that all men have always fought each other over women, or that any sort of competition that was going on has come to an end.

  4. My hope is that men will evolve into adult humans.

  5. can you say metrosexual?  Seems to me that we already have.  We are already on a trend leading to that.  Look at movie stars from 50 years ago, and compare them to the ones of today.  George Clooney wouldn't last 10 mins. in a fight with Bogart.

  6. If I have my way

  7. I have noticed the situation you describe in larger cities. However, at present at least, it is not so prominent in rural areas, and lower populated places.

  8. Evolution is driven by reproductive success.  These days nearly every man--hairy or smooth---has an opportunity to reproduce as much as he desires.  Therefore, there should not be a change in the proportion of hairy vs. smooth men.
