Romney is the ONE VP choice who would guarantee a loss for McCain.  There are hundreds of thousands of people who will not vote with Romney, simply because he is a Mormon.  If he makes that disastrous choice, it would speak volumes about his judgement.

I believe this election will be just like the last one, no clear front runner and a possible challenge of the votes once they are all counted.Mitt Romney is an intelligent man who does bring a lot into this election but I think it is equally countered by the experience of Biden.

I think most people already have their minds made up...it doesn't matter who McCain picks he has my vote...could Obama's VP pick push you to vote McCain:-)...

Biden says McCain and he are friends we'll see how far a democrat can bash one he calls friend...I think the bashing hasn't really started yet...

Two major issues with Romney that need to be carefully considered.

One, he's a Mormon.  Two, given the backlash against McCain's enormous wealth and perceived "out of touch with the real America" problem...Romney's own considerable personal wealth would be a real drawback.
