  1. Education will certainly improve their lot its no good giving them loads of money if they are unable to budget/manage the money in the most efficient way-or know what to do to help themselves.

There should not be starving ppl in Africa today. With all the money western governments have and lost could solve the problem it was mentioned in the press that it would take about 16Billion $/£ to solve the poverty- hardly a massive amount in global terms yet governments spend billions on war and arms threes no benefit or incentive to help them.

  2. The answer to your question is in a quotation of Dr. Singh on 'Human Nature and Development' as below,

"Money is important, may be quite important but without wisdom and by itself it does not solve any problem rather may create the problems. Nothing different and less then an unleashed sword in a monkeys hand guarding and defending the king."

Hope that answers your question and helps.

  3. Will merchandise solve a shoplifter's "problem"? Lack of money is not the problem; it is a symptom of the problem, which has been a series of kleptocratic leaders who make the continent an unattractive place to invest.

  4. I highly doubt money will solve any of Africa's problems.  It may just make things worse.  What Africa needs are stable governments.
