  1. Why do you think that Indian cricket team is united? Indian cricket team is made up of highly egoistic persons who care more for their personal performances rather than play for the country. Such incidents will be more rampant now because the cat is out of the bag.

  2. yeass....for sure..........

but i think that the players are mature enough to not to let this happen,........

  3. Forget about Past he is banned for whole IPL and now

I dont think any this type of rubbish will happen in IPL.

  4. it's bound to. but the only players that seem to have a problem are sreesanth and bhaji. maybe next tour BCCI will drop sreesanth and bring back nehra. as for bhaji im not sure what will happen.

  5. yes...and the all team will become teams of slappers instead of cricketers.

  6. Lets hope that one such incident was a strong messege to all players, the fans definitely do not want to seea repeat of such a horrible act!

  7. No, it can as well cement the amity as strong message has been sent already and it pays rich to be in a team, you see!

  8. It will definetlly mess up the team reputation , big-time, i hope they fix this incident, and nothing like that ever happen again. take care.

  9. The very concept on which IPL was based is a bit flawed to begin with.  The driving force here is money NOT the love of the game.  I believe this exercise was done to browbeat Kapil Dev & his league.  BCCI is not above blame.

Our players have been playing in the Ranji matches against each other but here big money is involved and that's what coloured everything dirty.  This is no longer a Gentleman's game and has been reduced to gulley cricket being played by the urchins.

While deploring the incident and not taking sides,  I feel Sreeshant needs to exercise more control on his emotions and needs to grow up.  Likewise Harbhajan Singh needs reininng in too.  Hopefully everyone involved (or not involved) has learnt a good lesson and things will not slide further....

  10. Yes.

    Without real strict punishment..

"Teen Crore Ka Lafa" But ban for 5-10 years is real justice, to keep all players in disipline & in Unity. Financial fine is not enough for these overated cricketers in these days as they are over paid...

  11. yes

  12. If players can't control their anger and don't have enough sportsmanship, such things are going to happen, and it will definitely harm the unity of Indian team.

  13. Team- spirit is to share the mood and enjoy the game whether one wins or loses.

It is an example of stupidity to slap and will never happen again.

Men may come and men may go.

  14. No one will dare repeat such a thing again.

No one will like a 11 Match ban, being expelled from Team and a loss of 3 Crores of IR.

And another punishment from BCCI added to it .

  15. More slapping

I think this one slap has already affected the unity

  16. No, just make it more interesting.

  17. of course

  18. yes.

  19. It is a part of reality show.

IPL will be strict about these. So they will not occur. No one would like to put their reputation at stake.

  20. Undeniably ...

  21. Yes. lets hope nothig will happen like that again !
