  1. Wel if you don't live in Ohio, Don't DO IT.  But here at least in Dayton and cincy area's there are straight piped trucks running around all over the place.  No Emissions Check Here.....

  2. in most states, diesels are exempt from emissions tests

  3. Is there a diesel admissions? Maybe Calf?? There is only a muffler under 01> If removed it sound loud and drones in the cab>

  4. No,don't even think about that, not a chance.Check engine light will come on,and it is illegal.

  5. If you try to do that or modify the vehicles exhaust system you'll not only fail the emissions test you'll through the whole vehicles system out of whack.

Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way if the problem you're having is related to the price of the exhaust parts try going to a do it yourself auto wreckers and I'm sure you'll find what you need for a lot cheaper prices , plus there are a few different model and yr of vehicles that you could take the parts from.
