Question:

Will my ACT score improve with class?

I took the ACT in June and scored a 31 composite. I hardly prepared at all, just a few book exercises. I had a perfect score in Reading, and a 32 in english. But my writing was only an 8! My math was a 28 and science was a 26. I have three years of high school to go. If I take an ACT prep class junior year, will I be able to get a 35 or 36?

  1. If you study and work thoroughly through that book, you can probably raise your score.  I can't guarantee that you can get a 35 or 36 (only you can), but it's definitely within reach.  The class may not be completely necessary, but it probably won't hurt.
