Will my AT&T cellphone work in Honduras?

I will be going to Tegucigalpa the 28th of this month. I have a blackberry curve 8310, that works on a GSM network. I have already talked to my cellphone provider and I know I will be charged in excess for any calls placed due to roaming. But I just wanted to know if it would work at all? Thanks so much.

  1. it will most likely work.  It would be better to buy a prepaid sim card from a company like digicell in Honduras it is a whole lot cheaper and all you have to do is swap out the sim card.  Don't count on being able to use your internet options on the blackberry though.
