  1. No, Canon Ixus support only SD cards (no SDHC at all) and up to 2 GB-s)


  2. No ... it does not support SDHC cards, so the largest card it will support is a 2GB SD.

    Your camera is over two years old and most P&S cameras that old do not support the higher capacity memory cards.

    That said, many older DSLR's do support higher capacity memory cards.  For instance my nearly six year old D100 supports my 8GB CF cards.
