I have a 00 ford f150 harley truck and i'm trying to stick with kicker all around for sound. The name "kicker" isn't what's important to me it's the sound they produce. Is this a good match?...overkill? open to any suggestions

  1. Yes that amp will be good for your sub. If your looking for some good bass that will fit in your truck without modiification. Check out these new JL subs.http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_subs_...

  2. that amp put out too much power for that sub, if your going to be running 2 subs then you could use it, you'd still have to turn the amp down a little bit so it wouldnt over power the subs, the amp puts out 1000 watts rms an each sub is 400 watts rms total of 800, so you want to make an amp with the same wattage, they make a kicker amp that puts out 750 rms which would be good if you have two of those subs. heres the link to the amp
