Will my LCD TV Lose Picture Quality Overtime?

Hey guys i have a 32inch LG LCD TV and i am wondering will it lose picture quality , sharpness , contrast or colors overtime or will it stay the same forever ? plz i need an answer this is very important. Thanks in advance :)

  1. Yes, you'll eventually get dead pixels and the non LED backlit displays will eventually lose their brightness. 10yrs is the typical shelf life for all of the newer flat screen displays (both LCD and Plasma).


  2. Typically all screens start to go bad after a certain amount of time. The pixels stop reacting the way their supposed to or get stuck, response time goes down and refresh rates suffer. Which in turn make picture quality worse. So yes ALL tvs eventually lose quality

  3. Yes the LCDscreen will lose picture quility sinse the pixels will start to die out and less pixels will have to do the work of many pihels and there will be less picture which will decrease picture sharpnees and it will also lose response time which will make the picture blury. But don't worry this will happen over many years (atleast 10) so don't worry.
