  1. yes as it is the phone battery that is charging and not the  sim card

  2. LOL yes!

  3. Yes mate, it will. You are only using the phone and not the provider, so just charge it up as normal-don't worry about the messages on the screen.

  4. yep.....most phiones do...

  5. yes it will http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

  6. mine does

  7. Of course not.

Nokia is tricking you and sells you a charging cable that you must connect to the electric grid but everybody know that that is just the ground connection, the battery is actually charged by the network operator / carrier which needs the SIM card to find your phone and of course to charge you for the power.

The way it works is that a small chinese guy, finely grained, is beamed over the radio waves directly to your SIM card where he gets reassembled and moves closer to the battery where he starts turning a wheel to generate electricity. This of course cannot work without the SIM

  8. Yeah, 'cos it's the battery that's gonna be charging, not the sim card. You can even use all non-network features on your phone without the sim card, such as the camera, bluetooth, and music player.
