I'm buying a 50 gallon tank in the next few days. I want a pair of Platinum Angelfish and eight Spotted Furcatta's, will my Angelfish eat them?

Will they eat my H. Inspector also?

In the 50 gallon I will add one H.Inspector, eight Spotted Fucata's, two Angelfish. Plus my three Pleco's (I will give them out when they outgrow the tank, to read what hapenned go to: http://planetcatfish.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=23554 )

I will remove the Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps sonner because he will get huge and fast.

Hopefully I will get to keep my Pterygoplichthys pardalis (he grows fast, but not super fast and smaller than the other one) and Pterygoplichthys joselimaianus (he grows even smaller than the other three so maybe i will be able to keep him in the 50 gallon permanently if he doesn't outgrow it.)

Basically, I will put them in together until they outgrow the tank.

My three Pleco's are super friendly and have no agression towards each other at all. Is it compatible?

  1. The Angels only pose a slight threat to the Rainbows, but they are very fast moving and will rarely come into contact with the Angels.  I really wouldn't worry about it, especially if your tank has plenty of cover.  The Plecos will be far too broad to fit in the Angels' mouths and won't draw any attention to themselves.
