Is it worth keeping them to sell later or should I sell now because it wont make that much difference?

  1. as already stated, it depends on the card. if its rare now, then odds oare, yea, it will be worth alot soon. i myself have a shining charizard. he is basic. he is also wirth about $30, for now. 5 years from now, maby he wil be $70.

  2. collectibles like cards, usually take decades to increase a suitable amount. so you shouldnt have get rich quick in mind. it will take a long long time, that of course if it ever increases in value.

i think pokemon will be worth something, they have quiet a legacy behind them, but like i said it will take decades. so most likely when your nearing retirement or already dead, your children may have some luck tho.

same thing happened to 50 cent baseball cards. 7 year olds got paid when they were over 40.

  3. It depends on the card, where you got the card, and the current condition of the card. Rare cards typically increase in value over time.

If you got the card from a starter deck or anything of the like, then it's rarity is substantially lower and is consequently worth less.

Obviously, poor condition cards diminish in value.

I suggest looking up prices on websites such as Amazon and Ebay, or any website that specializes in the sale of Pokemon cards, for your current cards.

    Peace.
