My son is 16 years old and was involved in a crime with two others

they have put him in detention for 10days before the court day

he might go on probation and attend a special school for 4 months

My question is, will his crime act be on his school transcripts?

also the special school is special for people that has committed a crime.

I'm really worried about his future and his studies

Please help

  1. in my state there are schools for children with beahvior issues-they may or may not have a criminal record---

in my state--when they graduate--teh sending district is listed on the diploma--it says they graduated from town public school--not special ed high..

so the transcript wouldn't reflect that--it may be elsewhere in his school file.

  2. hes still human he should go back to normal school after a 4-5 months if everything goes smoothly. it will show up on his transcripts though

  3. He will be fine - that stuff has a tendency to stick, but the great thing about higher education is that it is run by people who are somewhat likable.

    It'll be fine. :)
