Will my UK tomtom one, work in the usa?

Question

I think I have a tomtom one, maybe a 'go', was the cheapest one :)

If I download the usa maps will my tomtom work over there? I.e. picking up satellites and the is the cigarette lighter socket the same in the usa and same voltage?

I am going to florida.

I dont think the basic tomtom will have US maps on it.

You may need to get it updated when your over there,.

Yes it will. As long as you have the maps, everything will work just as it does in the UK.

And the cigarette lighter voltage, etc are all exactly the same.
