I have ten cats, some of which love to groom me like I was one of their own. Recently I got a very bad sunburn due to carelessness and I applied aloe vera. Now I'm afraid to let me cats l**k my arms and they like to do. Not only that but I'm afraid to hold them because I know how felines are a stickler for bathing and if they get any off me they are bound to l**k it off.

  1. Aloe vera is a stool softener for humans.  At the very minimum it might give them diarrhea.

Have you ever tasted aloe vera?  it's bitter and nasty. while it might make them sick- you may not have to worry, they may have NO INTENTION at all to l**k you with that on.

As a child when my lips were very chapped, I would always l**k them- and they would get worse.  My mother put aloe on them- not only did it heal them- it was the worst tasting nastiness ever, and it kept me from l*****g my lips.

  2. Aloe vera is poisoness to cats, so it is best to keep them away from it.  Here's some info on it that should help you.
