  1. In a word...no

You shall have to buy an adapter for the plug--ins over there....

they have two pronged outlets unlike the ones in the States.

You can find them at Wal-mart or any electronics shop.

    have a good trip!!!

  2. no, but luckily there are plugs available that you can buy (perhaps at a hardware store...) that plugs into the foreing plug but is an american plug that u can put ur straitener in, just make sure u buy the right plug for each country.

  3. you need to get an adapter plug - three prongs for london and two for france

  4. Consider that they are on 240 Volts in Great Britain and 220 Volts in France. Coming from the US, you need a transformer for your appliances. GB and F have different plugs, so you will want to buy adaptors for both countries. Happy travelling!

  5. Go to radio shack and they will answer all your questions. If you have a cell phone or laptop it usually comes with a 220 converter tip and the transformer will take care of the rest.

  6. Well, even with the correct transformer and plug, my flat iron blew a circuit in a hotel in Paris.  I wouldn't chance it again.

  7. You need to go get an adapter to use in Europe.

  8. Not unless you get an adaptor for Europe.
