Will my baby's stork bite go away?

he has a v shaped stork bite on his forhead a bridge of nose. he is 6 months and was born with it

  1. Yes, it will fade as he gets older and eventually will disappear.


  2. About 25% of the back of my daughter's head is covered in stork bites. The doctor said they would eventually fade and go away but so far, nothing. She is almost 6 months old. Hopefully soon!

  3. It should go away.  It is caused by little blood vessels.  My son has a huge one on his arm and the pediatrician said it may get bigger but then evetually it will go down and disappear.  She said it should be gone by the time he is 3 years old.

  4. My daughter had one on her eye lid, I called it an angel kiss.  It did fade away.

  7. My son was born with one in the same place. He is five now. It pretty much went away completely by the time he turned one, but it faded throughtout that first year.
