Will my baby leopard gecko (size about 3" not including tail) eat big crickets bigger than his head?

will the big crickets bite the baby leopard gecko?

petco ran out of small crickets. so i went to petsmart but they have some very huge crickets mixed in with them. im afraid the crickets will bite my gecko b4 my gecko eats them

  1. buy only small ones not any bigger than the space btwn his eyes

No.  You cant feed anything to your leopard gecko that is larger than the width between its eyes.  I would suggest maybe cutting the crickets in smaller pieces and if your afraid that the crickets will bite your gecko you should also cut off the crickets head.  This will also be good for your gecko because now he can catch them =)
