Sounds like a stupid question probably, but will my bank accept those coin rollers that you can purchase at the dollar stores that are pre-rolled for you? I'd roll it myself, but I fail at that.

  1. Call them up and ask.

  2. Banks don't care about the cost of

the rollers, or where they were

    purchased.

    They are concerned about the

correct amount being in them, and

    your account number is on

    each one.

  3. mine does i go to td canada

  4. Most banks will accept coins in ANY roll, as long as the correct number of coins is in the roll.  they don't care WHO fills the roll.

  5. They have to take it! =) It is legal tender. What they can do, is instead of exchanging it right away, tell you they have to send it in via brinks to be verified before depositing it. I worked for a bank that did that and annoyed people. Some will tell you to write your account number on the rolls. So that if they open one to use and it is short they can credit your account. Another branch, would not take it rolled, but wanted you to bring it in loose so their machines could verify it. And they did not charge like the grocery stores! I think they were the exception, lol. Sounds simple, but the best thing to do is to call your local branch (not the main number if it is a big bank) and ask if they do and how they want you to bring it in.
