Will my bearded dragon be okay?

Please look at the question I posted on answers above. No one has responded and I need to know if my dragon is going to be okay.

i got my beardie from petco about a year ago and she is happy as can be i am so sorry about your baby. i hope he is on a very good diet and a varied diet.

to answer if he can live without a toe or tip of the tail that answer is yes. My poor guy only has one toe on his back foot and missing toes of the other three and he can walk and run without a problem.  I don't know about what type of infection could be causing his problem, sorry. You said he was going to the vet and unforutnatley I don't think that there is anything else that you can do until then.  When you get there make sure you tell the vet EVRYTHING- when you go him, where you got him , the conditons in that tank, the condition of his tank mates.  What you are keeping him in, the substrate, the temps, diet, anything you observed since having him, take a stool sample with you if you can for testing.  These are all questions that the vet will ask and it's important to get him all the info possible to treat your little guy effectively.  Good luck.
