  1. Noo it probably wont die..

just make sure to stay up on water changes as its going to p**p a lot more than usual now lol and you don't want it to get sick on its own waste.

Fast your betta for a couple days. (don't worry bettas can go two weeks without food.. a few days will not hurt)

Also, make sure he doesn't get constipated.

If he seems to get really, really fat.. feed him a soft, shelled pea. It will act as a laxative.

My sister did the same thing a couple months ago, and Hectors doing great ;)

    Good luck!

  2. no it's not make sure you clean out the tank and put it under a lamp and don't feed it for 2 days. it'll be fine

  3. yes probably

  4. Put your Betta into clean, treated water.  Don't feed him for a day. The next day,  you could give him a mashed pea, he'll probably enjoy it, and it will help him pass the excess food easily.  Then you can feed him as usual.

If you don't know how to feed him a mashed pea, ask me.

He should be just fine.  Educate your friend.....    never feed from the food-container, in case of spills.  Shake out a few pellets onto a dish or clean napkin, and pick up (with clean fingers) only what you're going to feed him.  Then you can't spill a load into the bowl.
