There's no-one else to look after him at the moment and I have to go out about 2.30pm this aft and won't be able to get back until about 10am tmrw morning. Which means he will be about 20 hours on his own.

It's the first time he will have been left alone overnight, but I have left a lamp and radio on timer to switch off about 11pm. I usually cover him to sleep though but asumme he will sleep when it's dark until daylight. I can't close the curtains or put cover before I leave because it means he will be covered during daytime today, and until i got back tmrw morning. Ive left him plenty of food, and millet as well.

  1. Yeah. he should be A-ok. I don't think he'll starve or anything, seeing as you left him food. Just make sure to check on him when you get back.

  2. He'll be fine.  I used to cover 1/2 of the cage up with a towel so mine could at least get in the corner where it's dark if they wanted to.  It sounds like you have it covered.  You only feed him once a day anyway, right?

  3. Definitely.  Make sure he has enough water and food, and he will be fine. You sound like you have all the basic covered!
