Will my cable bill increase?

will my cable bill increase when they stop broadcasting in analog and switch to digital next year? I currently don't have digital.

  3. Cable ALWAYS increases...

    If they don't hit you now, they will hit you later.....

    And part of it really isn't their fault...you see, the satellite providers and the networks do most of the pricing on their TV signals and cable HAS TO PAY IT if they want those TV stations....

    And most packages ALWAYS include the SUCKY networks that nobody wants, with the NON-Sucky networks that EVERYBODY WANTS....

    That's how the business is.....

    So, when we switch over to digital, there will be a whole lot of equipment that will have to be bought and paid for. And they'll pass it on to us....

  6. One really doesn't have anything to do with the other.  The digital conversion has to do with over the air TV.  However, if history is any indication, yes, you cable bill will go up.  It goes up every year anyway!
