  1. Do lots of research and don't run too much.  Nitrous does damage to all motors with use.  Some will just go sooner than others.

  2. regulate the nos to very small shots, minimal at most. Then get her in the garage, bore the block and start searching for aftermarket high compression rings (try Jegs) for the engine. You'll need new hi-perf head gaskets, plugs, coil, port the intake, valve angle job, high flow fuel pump, new regulation system and hi port injectors, etc. This ain't the movies, utilzing NOs takes skill and discipline, and $$$. Can't truly have 1 w/o the other, otherwise, everyone would have it.

  3. Yes!...install at your risk!

  4. It will make your engine wear out a lot sooner.

Nitrous was first used in engines by the Germans during WW2 to improve the performance of their planes, but they stopped because it had a tendency to wreck the motor after a short time.

  5. jsut dont over shot the nitrous into the engin they also have someting im not shur what it is called so that it shots the same amount every time so u wont blow ur engin

  6. keep nitrous use only as needed youll be fine

  7. Nothing... if you use NO2 it's only a matter of time before you trash it.

  8. It will eat a stock motor up. Race motors have to be maintained more often when using NOS. Are you sure

mommy will get you another car when you ruin the Monte

    Carlo

  9. Why would you put NO2 in a car with a stock V6 engine?

  10. It also would require Forged Crank, rods...the works.

  11. why dont u jump off a cliff????

  12. that was a dumb move. you'll probably misuse it and blow the head gasket, 3800 v6's are not race motors. Plus it's illegal.

  13. you can use a stage setup with a controller like a 50/50 setup

anything you do with juice is going to hurt the engine no matter how much you beef it

a stage setup will be better on the engine because it will give a launch stage and a acceleration stage computer controlled to kick in at the best part of the power curve incited of one big stage that will rev the c**p out of the engine and hurt the trans

i would look in a 2 stage w less then a 75 shot each stage

    goodluck

  14. yes if the mixture is wrong .. if you run a wet system where it sprays gas and nitrous at the same time in the proper mixture  you can add safely 100 to 125 hp shot with out blowing up most Chevy v-6 /v-8 engines.  it is best put on by someone that can tune the system in..you will only get one shot if you get it wrong .. your be picking up engine pieces out of the road where it blow-ed bottom end of the engine out .. if you don't crash when it dumps oil all under the rear tires...  if you  plan to use it ..have a pro  install it ..

  15. It could and eventually will if you don't modify your engine with high performance parts.

  16. Yea not a good idea to put Nos in a stock engin invest your money on other performance parts first before you go Nos.

  17. it will put a hurting on the motor no matter what.  what it comes down to is the size shot you put into the v6.  I would start out wayyyy low, a little 50 shot, and see how it likes it.  If you feel like pushing the limits, swap the jets out for a higher shot.  Keep in mind nitrous is intended for high performance motors set up to run it, not for a stock bottom end gm v6.  Use at your own risk.  If you want to go fast, you got to pay the price.
