  1. No.

  2. It will fail. You will have to replace the cluster.

  3. no, you will have to replace the broken lenses

  4. no and also paint the clear buld red or yellow as you will get done for showing a white bulb at the rear of the car unless it was the reversing light before you even go on the road to get another one the blues will get you

  5. no it will fail if its showing any white light or if the lens is cracked

  6. REPLACE THE LIGHT CLUSTER AND IT SHOULD PASS IF NOTHING ELSE IS  NOT UP TO SCRATCH.

  7. no, go too a scrap yard and get one,!!

  8. no

  9. No, so I suggest you fit a new or used light cluster before it goes for the MOT.

  10. The exact point it would fail on is if white light is visible from any light other than the reversing lights.

Could also fail for sharp edges, depending on just how it is broken.

  11. If you cover the broken bits of lens with the correct colour insulating tape, and you are not showing a white light to the rear (except, of course, for the reversing light), then there is no reason it should fail, unless the garage which does the MOT also sells rear light lenses for your car.  Don't go to a cheap MOT place - they make their money on the repairs, so they will find something to fail it on.
