If my car only has a minimum liberity insurance, will it be cover if it hit by tornado or storm?

  1. No, if you only have minimal liability coverage it will not be covered. You need Comprehensive coverage.  FYI - minimal liability limits are usually inadequate and will barely protect you.

No, you need comprehensive coverage on your car.  Comprehensive covers more than just weather related issues or an 'act of god or nature'.  Comprehensive also provides coverage in the event you would come in contact with an animal (like a deer, bird, dog), most glass breakage (depending on the situation), and weather related events.

    I am sorry if something already happened to you, but please call your insurance company and speak to them to obtain quotes to see what the difference in premium would be for you.  It sounds like you may be underinsured if you have state minimum.  You want to be sure your insurance coverage is enough to cover you because once limits on your policy are exhausted, you would have to pay the rest OUT OF POCKET!
