  1. well it can depend on the cat but usually yes they can have a little bit of a fight. It might take a few days or even a week for them to settle in with one another but just make sure that you show them both equal amount of attention and be patient they will get along it will just take a bit of time.

    good luck

  2. I was in the same situation, but I had a female cat and we got a male kitten. They might fight at first, but after they get used to each other they will learn to love each other and be like siblings. :) I don't think they'll attack each other, but if you're worried about that try introducing them to each other at first and then keeping them in separate rooms for a couple of days.

  3. It really depends.  Cats are VERY territorial but I've found that older cats are generally more receptive to kittens.  I had a male cat for about 1.5 years before I brought home a female kitten.  He took to her with no problems.  However, this is what I've heard that does appear to work (with me anyway), I heard you should give your cats a bath together, then they will clean/l**k each other... then they tend to really bond with one another.  I don't consider it a myth.

  4. That totally depends on their personalities...  We have three cats, one of which doesn't get a long with the other two.  It's not that she fights with them, she just chooses not to socialize with them.  At first they may not get a long, but chances are good that if you give them  few days of adjustment it will work out just fine.

  5. They are going to fight just to say who is the dominant one.
