Will my cat come back?

Question

A lost kitten showed up at our door one day, so we kept it fed and played with it when we could. But due to my mom's allergies, we couldn't let it in, and it was living on our back porch until we could find a home for it. But just as we found someone, it left the yard and hasn't returned. Is it just roaming?

well, my cat would sometimes just go roaming around, but it would come back after a couple of hours.

Maybe pay attention to how long its gone.

And also, think about how it acted while it was still there.

I also had another cat that left and never came back. :(

Its possible someone took it in, but if it hasn't been adopted, it will come back  to its food source.

As long as you have been feeding it,when it gets hungry it will probably come back. Just keep food out for it.
