Will my cat forget me after staying at other peoples house?

I let my cat stay at my moms house and my sisters house sometimes when they come to spray my apartment. They also have other cats as well. So will my cat forget me? Whats the memory span of a cat? Will it still be attached to me like before?

Yes, the cat will remember you. If it was really young and you didn't see it for like a month that'd be different. My brother left his cats at my house for at least a month and when he took them back to his new house, they were the same as ever. They're intelligent creatures, they know what you say to them. They may not care, but that's a totally different story.

If you are the one spending most time with her (compare to your mom and your sis), she won't forget you. But of course if it's for a long period of time (say a few months) without seeing you then maybe.

It also depends how old is she. I once picked up a stray kitten, nursed her for a few weeks before finding her an owner, when I visited her a one/two months later, she totally cannot recognise me at all.

Don't worry your cat will not forget you. I don't know the memory span of a cat but I have gone away for a few days and they seem happy to see me when I get back and don't act like I am a total stranger. I would not be concerned.

Your cat will never forget you. You are the owner. When you first get a cat, you let it get used to your home. Your cat will always be attached to you because you were the first face it saw when you got it.

Yes, she will remember you. She will act like she wont for a few days first tho when you get back,  just to punish you for leaving her! hahaha oh dont you just love them???
