Question:

Will my cat forget me?

ok i am leaving to canada for 22 days im leaving my cat with someone who is going to take care of him (who has cats) or the vet, when i get back from Canada will my cat Ally remember me because we have such a tight relationship i was the first face he saw since he was a baby kitten 2 weeks and he really loves me right now will he inclusive miss me?

Yes, your cat will still remember and like you. I've had to leave my cat for a couple of weeks before and nothing changed between us.

he will remember your scent when you meet again.

it is not love, it is food. he remembers you feeding him.

some cats miss their owners, most dont care. as long as someone feeds them.

i used to go away for summer camp for a month, and ive had this cat for twelve years, and he would still run up to me and let me pet him and stuff, same as always

He won't forget you, but don't be surprised if he ignores you. Cats hold a grudge and he will probable be very angry at you for leaving him. The way he shows his anger is by ignoring you when you come back. Give him an hour or so and he'll come around.

He will definitely remember you. 3 weeks is not that long to be gone. He will probably miss you while you're gone, but he may also be mad at you for leaving, so don't be surprised if he seems aloof when you get back. He'll get over it eventually, and will love you just as much as before you went.

No he will not forget you. I went on a month long vacation and both my cats were just as close to me when I returned.

An animal's love never forgets his owner! He will probably be stressed out though, being apart from you, but he will never forget you especially if you have such a close relationship. I'm sure he will be VERY happy to see you when you return!

no just leave something behind with your scent on it, such as a shirt or sock

he will remember you. but he will miss you ALOT!

He won't forget you but may act like he has. Cats tend to want to punish us for leaving them for any period of time. He will get over it. Just make sure you leave him with someone you are certain will take good care of him.
