Question:

Will my cat start to pee in the house if I get another cat?

My cat has been my only cat for about 6 years now and I have been thinking about getting another cat. I was just wondering, what are the chances of something going wrong and cause her to start peeing in the house?

Also, I have a dog, bird, and fish as well. Would they make the new cat start to pee in the house, too, even if the new cat previously came from a home with a dog?

  1. Well I had a male cat for 11 years and a female cat that was 4 years old. We brought home 2 kittens that were using the litter box for a week next thing you know the kittens were peeing every where they could. The older cats usually ignored the kittens and just hist at them.

  2. he might... or he might not. if hes neutered, then the chances of him spraying will lower. but he might cuz he might want to tell the other cat that this is "his" house.. but since hes neutered, he might not..

  3. its a gamble, dont know if it will make the older cat mad, it might work, then again (maybe not) it just depends on your cat
