  1. I assume you mean that someone else is going to look after it, but it will not get to come out of the cage for 2 weeks. No one who loves their pet would leave it home alone for two weeks, if they did they'd return to a dead bird.

Been confined to the cage will be OK as long as the cage is big enough for it to spread its wings and flap around. Just make sure that it will be given fresh food and water daily and gets some attention each day. Birds quickly get bored and can start feather plucking, once this starts it is an hard habit to break.

  2. ask a care taker of a pet.leave as amny amount of water and food as you can to the cage to make the birds survive.but just to be sure, just be alert and have a pet sitter.

  3. You need a bird sitter, someone to tend to them on a daily basis.  As long as they have someone coming in to tend to their needs they will manage fine in their cage while you are away.  You cannot expect them to survive 2 weeks with the same water, same newspaper, same food dishes???.... You will surely return home to birds that have died in your absence.   Please do not consider doing this.... I have left my birds overnight and have worried non-stop,... And when i do this they have double dishes of everything as once when I was gone shopping all day the water bottle fell off...... Birds are fragile and cannot survive without proper care.........

  4. Uh yeah...maybe you should have a friend look in on it.

  5. Um Yeah,  you should have a friend watch it.  Try to a find a pet sitter

  6. yes you cant even leave them alone for a couple of days whos going to change the water and give it new food find a friend to take care of it or board it sumwhere

  7. Wow...I cant believe that question even crossed your mind.  Your talking about leaving the bird home by himself in a cage for 2 weeks? With nobody to watch it, keep it company, clean the cage, give him fresh water & food?  Sorry to be mean but, are you sure your capable of having a pet? or do you mean your gonna take him with you, but he would have to stay in his cage for 2 weeks?  That still wouldn't be good for the bird

  8. oh man and here i am stressing ahead of time for months whenever i have to go away for like 5 days!!!!

well yes if it were left alone for two weeks it would definetly die but if, and i hope this is the case, you have someone coming to look after it it'd be nice if they could give it at least 30 minutes out of the cage a day, and or you should buy it some new toys to keep it entertained in your absence

  9. Sure its alright

But first off  why don’t you try it, You get a small bowl of water  and the same amount of food. Find the smallest room you can (NOT THE BATHROOM)  and get someone to lock you in and  they cant come back for 2 weeks,  No company no more food and when you have to relive your self just do it on the floor. Don’t clean it up cause your bird can not . See how you feel at the end of those 2 weeks ?

Bet you would not make one week
