Will my credit rating follow me to ireland?

I am moving to the republic of Ireland at the end of the month from the UK, I have no debt but i do have a poor credit rating from my past, will this be the case when i have moved?

I work in a bank in Ireland and if we know that a person has lived in the UK we run a UK credit check on them when they are applying for a loan with us.
