I'm in london and want to visit friends in S.Ireland. I've lost my daughters passport and want to travel in a week which is too soon to get a replacement. I might fly or go by coach.

  1. You mean the Republic of Ireland.

  2. If she is on your passport she can...otherwise she will need a form of photo ID.she will need some form of ID anyway, they dont leave ANYONE travel without it

and its the republic of Ireland

  3. she will need your passport to fly but she will not  if you go by coach

  4. I am from America and here most times you need a passport especially since 911 but you may want to check with your travel agent.  Sometimes a birth certificate and proof of custody is all you need.

  5. yep everyone needs a passport these days....even new born babies!

  6. If you fly she will need one but I don't think she will if you go by boat.

    = )

  7. She will be able to fly using your passport as long as her name is on your passport. If it is, all should be fine! If it's not... she's not flying with you :(

If your flying from a country in europe to another country in europe, any person under 16 can travel under a parents passport as long as their on it.

If your flying outside Europe she'll need her own passport.

I think all should be fine for you, but just ring the airport information desk and they'll tell you exactly what you want to know!!

Hope that helped, good luck :)
