Will my daughter have problems at the border of UK?

She is 5 months old and is a canadian citizen due to me giving birth to her while visiting my parents....

Me and her father will be flying with her and are UK citizens...she only has a canadian passport...

We are moving back home so have no return ticket...

Because she is only 5months old i cannot fly home without her, we plan to register her and everything when we get home.

In your opinion, do you think we will have problems at the border? And if i explain everything to them, will they let her through??

  1. Hello

You need to register the child at the place of birth and also take the document to the UK Embassy to register the baby.

The baby doesn't need to pay for traveling until the age of 2. With the proper documentation from the Embassy you can take your child back to UK.

    Good Luck!

  2. I think you are going to be just fine.  I would look it up on Google and see what the actual laws are, but I don't think you will have a problem.
