Will my dentist prescribe vicodine or hydrocodine if I am having numerous cavities filled in one day?

I am going to the dentist tomorrow. I have already had a couple molars pulled. Now its time for my fillings. I have a lot of cavities which I believe they are filling all at once. Will they prescribe me pain medication?

Tylenol (OTC) is fine.

why are you assuming the job will cause a lot of after pain?

I expect the dentist would say if that was to be expected (which it wouldnt be)
