Will my digital cable box still work if I take it from my house to my dorm?

It's a comcast box and my dorm is about an hour away from home. I have a feeling it wouldn't work because of all the restrictions on cable access.

As far as i know it depends who you are with. Check your providers website or phone then, otherwise state more info in your question.

Probably. You'll need to check first with comcast to find out if they know of any restrictions, then with the school. I could be wrong, but as long as you're staying with comcast, you shouldn't have any problems.
