  1. Unless there is a dog expert on this website I would go see a dog groomer, they usually know that sorta thing, failing that go see your vet

  2. No.

Well, OK, it would, but he's so old he's going to die before it happens. Sorry!

  3. It can be normal for some breeds (ie: Dachshunds, chihuahuas, Yorkies) as they age to have hair loss somewhat like male pattern baldness. I would venture to say it isn't likely to grow back after four years.

  4. My granny had a dog named lucky he was a yorkshire terrier.

Well he got old and he lost his hair completely on his back but still had hair on his sides and legs (almost how a man loses hair on the top of his head but not the sides) he never grew his hair back ever.

The vet said its a part Dogs old age also.

He died and still was bald, but my granny loved him to death! It didnt matter to her at all just as im sure you love your dog just as much!

I hope your dogs hair grows back but either way im sure you have the cutest most loveable dog around!

  5. i dont think so not if its been like this for four years now hes old and thats what happens to old dogs and people..... try some oatmeal shampoo to help with dry skin they sell this at the pet stores .........he might live for a few more years just keep him calm and happy h**l be fine

  6. Yes - for sure

  7. i doubt that it will grow back but u can see your vet ! and that guy that said that your dog is going to die soon is an complete  idiot some dogs live to be like 20 or something !

  8. yes it will grow bac same prob with my dog shes 14

  9. Your parents really need to take him to the veterinarian! What were y'all thinking while letting this dog suffer through some sort of problem for 4 years? That isn't normal and your dog is probably uncomfortable. Get him to the doctor. That poor dog...

P.S. You shouldn't listen to the people saying "yes" that it will grow back. They obviously did not read the whole question. Your dog has been going through this for 4 years! Do you really think it's going to grow back without getting him help by taking him to the vet? At least CALL the vet first and see what they say.

Jeeze... people will just give you any answer just so they can get a point added to their score.

  10. yea!

  11. try some regrow formula for animals, SEE A VET.

  12. Time to get another dog.

  13. I know how you feel i have 19 year old bull dog since he's so old he doesn't do anything but sleep. He rolls and scratches his back so much that it's worn down to a bald spot. I've tryed everything i could to help but nothing worked. also my sister has a bull or pit not sure but he rolled in a fire ant hill and he lost his hair on the back where he was bitten and it's still bald but maybe there is something you can try to help your dog. but i dont what it is sorry.

  14. Do you mean bald on his back? Sade? Do you mean Sad? He might have allergies, does he scratch a lot? Take him to a vet.

  15. no it won't grow back.  Your dog probably only has 2 years left, and baldness is a part of old age.

    Sorry for the harsh news.

  16. Find out if that is normal for his breed. If that doesn't work call a breeder or pet physician and see if they can give you more advice.

  17. h**l yeah
