Will my dog be ok? ?

i just wokeup a little bit ago and i got the chocolate syrup out to make some chocolate milk and i dropped it on the floor & the lid came off, well when i went to go get something to clean it up with my dog licked it up, ive always heard ppl tel me that dogs die when they eat chocalte..is she gonna be ok ya think?

If she only ate a little bit she will probably be fine or the worst that could happen if she ate a little  is to get sick. If he ate a lot she could die or just get sick.I hope shes ok

I think the danger of chocolate has to do with how large the dog is and how much it ate.  If you have a chihuahua that licked up a cup of chocolate it may be more serious than if you have a great dane that licked up a cup of chocolate.  And I'm not sure how much chocolate would be dangerous, I was using a cup just as an example.

If it was a small dog that ate a large amount of chocolate I would keep an eye on her.  Don't panic though.  I've had small dogs that got into chocolate and nothing happened.

If it was only a little bit your dog should be ok.  They might vomit some, but it shouldn't be life-threatening.

It depends on his size and how much chocolate he ate, and what type of chocolate it was.  You need to google chocolate poisoning in dogs and learn what symptoms to look for.  You also need to write down the phone # for animal poison control so you can call them at times like this.

Chances are the dog didn't consume enough chocolate to do serious harm, but you need to read up on chocolate poisoning and keep an eye on him today.

I think she will be fine just watch her for the day if she gets really sick take her to the vet but she should be fine. but chocolate isn't good for dogs.

Your dog should be ok. If it ate a LARGE amount consult your vet. Chocolate is toxic to dogs.  However, recently our dogs got into some and have been fine.

Your dog should be fine. He may just vomit or get the diarrhea.
