  1. put her food bowl and water bowl and maybe her cage in plain site of your house and keep your eyes on it, goodluck and i hope he comes back

  2. awww i dont think so

  3. Most Likely Not

  4. Hi,

It depends how long you have had them before releasing them most pigeons etc have to be in their home for 4 weeks or more in order to build up their homing insticts. So if you have had them a shorter time then it its highly likely that they will not return sorry.

But if i was you i would walk around the neighbourhood as my doves escaped and about half an hour later turned up in a bush across the road from me and i managed to just grabe them and take them back to their cage.

  5. There is a possibility that it might come back.  It might only flown a little ways so he might still be able to see the house.  Keep your eye out for him.

  6. Fantail doves are very different to pigeons and don't have as strong a homing instinct.

But if you get them breeding in your bird house it gives them something to come back for.

Can you answer some questions. : )

It will help answer your question better

How long have you had them?

How long did you keep them in for?

    Are they breeding birds?

Ps: try shaking a tin with pigeon peas in it to cox the dove off the roof.

  7. most probably not he will go away its his life

  8. He might and might not come back. Though doves do have an instinct to go 'back home'. So keep hope!

  9. Well birds were ment to fly, and if he comes back, he's ur pal for life, and if he doesn't soon and you want him back, then don't give up hope!

  10. If it comes back, it is yours, if it does not, it never was yours.
