Rodent species generally do not get on with other rodent species and some (like Syrian hamsters) don't even get on well with their own species.

No.  As a rule, rodent species should never be mixed for either play or housing purposes. Usually, one will end up injured or dead.

i would say a rabbit and a guinea pig could be mixed but that is about it! Other than that they would fight or eat each other! So don't take the risk
