Will my fiance get denied into australia because i have never worked?

Im an australian resident, 25 and a student... i have never worked a day in my life due to an bad car accident when i was 21, ive fallen in love with an america and we are wanting to get a visa for permanent residence for him...we have read up online about this all and its says that i have to show two yrs proof of work as ...i have never worked is that going to be a really huge problem for us....will he get denied a visa into australia because of me :( we are engaged and wanting to marry

  1. Your best bet is ring the department of immigration and ask them the best way to get your partner into the country.

    Their number is 131881.

    My husband was able to get his visa and I to couldn't show that I had worked as I was busy raising our children.

    My husband then had to prove that he for last 5 years ,he had worked without getting any type of social security benefits,and his visa was granted 7 weeks later.

    Just in case have a look at this website and have a look at all the different types of visas your partner might be entitled to.
