Will my fingernail ever grow back?

i'm freaking out!

in july sometime, i had a hang nail so i ripped it but teared a layer of my nail near my cubicle ...the white stuff..whatever you call it ai made a hole in my nail, so i left it alone and it grew a new nail in that hole but it wwas weird looking..i cant really explain it..anyways so i decided i should rip it out to grow normal so everday i cut my nail with nail clippers as short as i can go (dont ask me how i just did) and now today i pretty much have it off but there are chunks of nails attached which im trying to get rid off but i'm starting to worry that it''l never grow bak that i might of completly riped it off, im really scared and i don't wat to see a doctor, please tell me it'll grow back! it will right?

Hair and nails are ever growing things(even after death for some days they'll grow).So don't worry.Just you need patience and u have to divert concentration from it. Cover it if you don't like to see.Give some time.Stop cutting Nails.

try going to a drug store and they have this sally hanson products for nails. go to the nail section and look for the nail growing formula, it is green.

Don't worry, it will grow back. My friend ripped off her entire nail once and it grew back after a while.  Stop cutting it so short - you could get an infection - and put a band-aid around it with some hydrocortizone or antibiotic cream.  It will heal in time.

yes it will . i've known ppl who have lost their nail and they were just fine cuz it grew back. i think it's like hair or like plants. they regrow and it's nth rly to worry about. u had it before u'll have ti the rest of ur life

It will grow back but stop cutting it. It may not come back smooth at first but should get better.

It show you have shortage of calcium. Start taing any of the calciums i.e. Sndoz or Osto of Glaxo. Try to get calcium in your food you will get rid of the problem.
