Will my fish get along?

Question

2 female guppies, 2 male guppies, 6 or seven neon tetras, and i dont no how many minnows yet. It's a 20 gallon with a filter and heater.

you really should get a couple of more female guppies to spread the mateing out with the guppies so the males don't end up killing the females by mateing with the same 2 constantly recomended is at least 2 females for each male

You're probably going to need a couple more female guppies. An ideal ratio is two females to every single male (Though some also suggest have three females per male). As for the minnows, unless you have white clouds, they're better off in colder waters - not in the tropics, pal. However, it may work. The lowest your guppies and tetras can thrive in is just about the highest minnows can tolerate.

Other than that, they're all rather peaceful fish. Any little fights you may encounter may just be individual quirks known as personality.

Yes, but the minnows are feeder fish and they will not live too long. I would not waste my money on those and  I would get an algae eater instead.

Yes they will all get along. They are peaceful community fish that will enjoy all the swimming space. Sounds like you have a good tank going.

EDIT: By the way, the guppies are gonna breed like rabbits so you better get ready for a whole lot of guppy babies.

The minnows (unless they are White Cloud Mountain minnows) are cold water fishes and should not be in the same tank as your tropical fishes. Also if they are feeder (or even from a bait shop or the wild) might have diseases that will make your tropical fishes sick. I say keep the minnows out of the tropical fish aquarium. And it is right that you should have two (or more) female guppies for each ale guppy so that the females do not get harassed to death by the males.
