  1. Looks like Faye will hit the area on Weds. You may be ok but the wind and rain will be a issue.......4+ in and winds @ 40 will hurt.

  2. sometimes when a storm is on the way they wait for a time frame where its not raining hard. or windy

then they will load the passangers and leave as fast as they can and try and fly over the storm clouds instead of through it

so it might not get canceld just maby delayed for a couple of hours

  3. I would say most likely not.  Currently ATC is discussing impacts on the west coast of Florida in the vcty of Ft. Myers and Tampa.  While Ft. Lauderdale may experience delays due to thunderstorms and gusty winds, I am not hearing of any significant cancellations to the east coast of Florida.

Watch closely for the storm track and, of course, check with your carrier in advance... but overall, have a great flight!

  4. It all depends on the flight path.  The airline will most likely do what it can to not cancel the flight as that would incur more cost to them, etc.  Contact the airline or visit their website directly to obtain the latest status of your flight.

  5. It depends also on what the storm does between now and then!
